Berkshire pigs are a heritage breed known for the delicious flavor and melt in your mouth texture of their meat. During the growing season, our pigs are reared on intensively managed pastures, getting a large portion of their food by grazing and rooting. We never use antibiotics or growth hormones. During the winter months, the pigs are kept inside in large, deep bedded pens with lots of natural light and ventilation. The result is an incredible gourmet meat!
